Gardaí in Dublin are investigating after a number of shots were fired at a house on the northside overnight.

Gardaí in Dublin are investigating after a number of shots were fired at a house on the northside overnight.

It happened in the Shangan area of Ballymun at around 2.30am this morning.

Gardai say no one was injured in the incident and only the windows of the house were damaged.

Investigations are ongoing.
