Gardaí have launched a criminal investigation into the death of a Dublin teen who it is believed was cyber-bullied.

Gardaí have launched a criminal investigation into the death of a Dublin teen who it is believed was cyber-bullied.

Seventeen-year-old Darren Hughes Gibson was found dead at an industrial estate in Ballbriggan in August 2012.

The coroners court had previously heard that Facebook was not cooperating with requests to retrieve deleted messages.

However gardaí have told the court that the investigation will provide grounds to access Darren's account.
