Anti-water charge protesters aim to scare Government with Hallowe'en march
Anti-water charge campaigners will take to streets of Limerick today wearing Hallowe'en costumes.
Marchers will gather at 2pm and burn application packs for Irish Water in a cauldron in front of the City Hall to show their opposition to the tax.

Yesterday, Senator Fergal Quinn said he will publish a Bill in the Seanad aimed at removing the powers of Irish Water to ask citizens to provide their PPS numbers.
Anti-water tax activists are calling for the charge to be abolished altogether.

Limerick Anti-Austerity Alliance Councillor Cian Prendiville is convinced that people-power can force the Government to shelve the charge.
"They need a scare, they're on the ropes," he said.
"This issue is haunting them and we're letting them know that we're not going to go away.
"This is a vampire tax, sucking more money out of the pockets or ordinary people to give to the zombie banks
"And so this Hallowe'en is a time for us to give the real scare to this Government, to have a mass march.
"But their real worst nightmare is mass non-payment, and that's what we'll be organising, for people to boycott these bills in January, and force the abolition of this water charge, like we did in the 90s."
