Two killed in Offaly crash

Gardaí at Ferbane are investigating a single-vehicle fatal collision.

At approximately 7.30pm this evening two males, aged in their late teens, were fatally injured when the car they were travelling in left the road, and collided with a wall on the R436 at Rosfaraghan, Ferbane.

They were pronounced dead at the scene.

The road is currently closed and Garda forensic collision investigators are at the scene.

Local traffic diversions are in place.
