Two men arrested in connection with a serious sex assault in Dublin yesterday have been released without charge.

Two men arrested in connection with a serious sex assault in Dublin yesterday have been released without charge.

Investigations into the case are continuing.

The attack happened in the early hours of Thursday morning in the Newlands Road area of Clondalkin.

The victim, who is in her thirties, was attacked around 3.20am as she was walking home with a bag of groceries.

Gardai have appealed to witnesses - drivers, taxi-drivers, pedestrians, or anyone with information, to contact Ronanstown Garda Station.
