Motorists urged to drive carefully in wet conditions
Motorists are being urged to drive with care this morning due to slippery road conditions.
A status yellow rainfall alert remains in place until later this evening for counties Galway, Mayo, Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick.
Met Éireann is warning of rainfall amounts ranging from 20-to-40 millimetres in some places.
