Gardaí this morning carried out raids in Dublin city seizing drugs, cash, stolen property and an Audi A3.

Gardaí this morning carried out raids in Dublin city seizing drugs, cash, stolen property and an Audi A3.

Officers from the newly formed Special Crime Task Force searched four properties in the south inner city.

They seized heroin with a street value of €3,000, a substantial sum of money, €30,000 worth of jewellery and a watch worth €15,000.

An Audi A3 and other items of stolen property were also seized.

A man and a woman in their 20's were arrested and are being held at Kevin Street Garda station.
