A south Dublin GAA coach has been jailed for seven years for his part in a major drugs operation.

A south Dublin GAA coach has been jailed for seven years for his part in a major drugs operation.

David Gill from The Pines, Leopardstown Road, was arrested after being caught with €600,000 worth of cannabis last August.

He told gardaí he was trying to provide for his family after losing his job and was working for a well-known and much-feared criminal.
