Rugby legend Brian O'Driscoll has spoken about how he knew he wanted to marry Amy Huberman after just eight weeks together.

The former Leinster and Ireland star told Ray D'arcy that he engineered a meeting with the actress after seeing her on TV.

O'Driscoll details their first meeting in his new book The Test - and he said he knew Amy was the woman for him.

“After eight weeks , yeah, I had a fair idea that I wanted to marry her,” he said.

“People say: ‘When you know, you know’. Genuinely.”
