A man has admitted his part in a major drugs operation in west Dublin.
James Carroll was arrested after almost a quarter of a million euro worth of cannabis was found at his home in Clondalkin in February.
At around 7.45pm on the evening of February 25, 2014, officers from the Divisional Crime Task Force based in Ronanstown assisted by the local Drug Unit searched a house at Old Church Avenue in Clondalkin.
Cannabis herb worth €120,000 was found in the kitchen and another €100,000 worth of the drug was found in an upstairs bedroom.
Four people, including 38-year-old James Carroll, were arrested at the scene.
He was due to stand trial, but when the drug dealing charge was formally put to him in court today, he pleaded guilty.
The father of one is due to be sentenced in March.
