Two people have been injured in a chemical incident at a lab in Waterford this morning.

Two people have been injured in a chemical incident at a lab in Waterford this morning.

It happened at the Sanofi plant at around 11:20am.

Emergency services were called and the two injured were brought to University Hospital Waterford where they are being treated.

The Health and Safety Authority is investigating.
