A father of four has been charged with the murder of Irene White in County Louth almost 13 years ago.
The 43-year-old was found dead at her Dundalk home on April 6, 2005.
Mother of three Irene White had just returned from doing the school run when she was killed at her home.
Her body was discovered by her mother.
Today, 45-year-old married father of four Niall Power with an address at Gyles Quay, Riverstown, Dundalk appeared in court charged with her murder.
Detective Sergeant Mick Sheridan told the court that the accused made no reply when he was arrested charged and cautioned.
Judge John Coughlan remanded him in custody to appear before the courts again next week.
He also granted him free legal aid.
On Monday 34-year-old Anthony Lambe with an address at Annadrumman, Castleblayney, Co Monaghan was jailed for life after he admitted killing Ms White.

On Tuesday, Gardaí arrested a 45-year-old man - he is now been charged in connection with her murder.
He is due to appear before Dundalk District Court this morning.
