A man in his 30s is due to appear in court this afternoon charged in connection with the seizure of a number of cars, a boat and some power tools in Co. Meath.

A man in his 30s is due to appear in court this afternoon charged in connection with the seizure of a number of cars, a boat and some power tools in Co. Meath.

He was arrested yesterday after searches were carried out in Oldcastle as part of Operation Thor.

Gardaí believe the property, which included two Audis, were stolen during burglaries in the midlands.

Gardaí had searched a house yesterday in Rassilagh, Oldcastle, Co. Meath and found a 2015 Audi A5, 2010 Audi A4 Estate, a rigid inflatable boat and outboard motor, three ride on lawnmowers, a lawnmower and power tools.
