Public Accounts Committee call on HSE to explain 'what went wrong' at lobby group

The HSE is to be brought before the Public Accounts Committee to explain how a Hepatitis C lobby Group allegedly misspent public money.

"The amounts of money that were spent and how that money was spent now needs to be accounted for," he said.

"I understand that the accounts were not properly audited, so the HSE will be called before the Public Accounts Committee to determine just exactly what went wrong here, and how taxpayers' money was spent."
