Ireland's oldest man dies at 108

Ireland's oldest man has passed away in his 108th year.

Michael Lambert from Ballintubber, Co Roscommon died on Sunday night in Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe.

He turned 107 last October, and took the title of Ireland's oldest man in November when the previous holder of the title died.

Luke Dolan, who was also from Co Roscommon, passed away aged 108.
