A man is due before Dublin District Court this evening charged in relation to a cash-in-transit robbery.

A man is due before Dublin District Court this evening charged in relation to a cash-in-transit robbery.

A number of men threatened staff at the van on Cork Street shortly after 7.30pm yesterday evening.

One staff member suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

Gardaí arrested a man close by and he is being held at Kevin Street Garda Station.

A sum of money and a firearm were recovered.
