Gardaí in Cork have questioned two Polish men, following the seizure of €10,000 worth of drugs during a search of a house in Ballincollig yesterday.
The me, understood to be both aged in their 20s, were arrested after gardaí found a half kilo of cannabis resin.
Both men were detained under drug trafficking legislation and taken to Gurranabraher garda station for questioning.
The two have since been released and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
It follows the seizure of €50,000 worth of heroin by officers from the Cork City Divisional Drugs Squad and the Gurranabraher District Drugs Unit.
A 27-year-old woman from the Bishopstown area was arrested after gardaí found her with a third of a kilo of heroin at Rope Walk in Shanakiel on Thursday evening.
A file is to be prepared for the DPP.
