A man has admitted to carrying out a serious sexual assault in Kerry over three years ago.

A man has admitted to carrying out a serious sexual assault in Kerry over three years ago.

The 32-year-old accused, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty at the Central Criminal Court to aggravated sexual assault of a woman between July 28, 2011 and July 29, 2011.

Mr Justice Tony Hunt revoked the man's bail and remanded him in custody until February 2 next for sentence when all evidence will be heard.
