There has been outrage on social media after Bus Éireann canceled a number of routes today.
We regret to advise customers of cancellations to services on Routes NX, 103, 109A, 126 & 133 https://t.co/x4tmsLDe3C

The bus company announced the cancellations on Twitter early this morning.
This gave some customers only a couple hours notice for their morning buses.
The services affected were across four bus routes, route 111, 109, 109A and 133.
Route 111 serves Athboy and Dublin, Route 109 serves passengers travelling from Cavan and Kells to and from Dublin while Route 133 services those between Wicklow and Dublin.
Bus Éireann cited "operational issues" as the reason for the cancellation.
"We regret to advise customers in the Eastern region of disruptions to the following services today due to operational issues. We apologise for any inconvenience these disruptions may cause our customers," according to the Bus Éireann website.
Here is what some of the affected customers had to say:
Seriously? Can BE not sort the issue out so there is no need for cancellations! A week of no shows Wicklow - Dublin - Wicklow already.

Another shambolic day in the Eastern region. If you don't have the buses or drivers for the routes, don't implement change #ifitsnotbroke
