Gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding an explosion at a house in Dublin in the early hours of this morning.

Gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding an explosion at a house in Dublin in the early hours of this morning.

The blast happened at Latchford Square in Castaheany in Dublin 15 at 3.15am.

Dublin Fire Service also attended the scene.

The house was empty at the time of the explosion.
