Court to rule on injunction against protesters occupying Dublin show-house

The High Court is due to hear an application today for a court order preventing protesters from occupying a show-house in a Dublin housing estate.

Hansfield Investments is seeking the injunction against the occupation of the house at Barnwell in the Hansfield area of West Dublin.

The protesters say they have lost their homes and they want to highlight the lack of social and affordable housing in Dublin.

Anti-Austerity Alliance TD Ruth Coppinger, who has been supporting the protest, is named on the injunction.
