2,000 sign petition against removing trees for new cycle path in Dublin
Fifty trees are to be cut down in Fairview in Dublin to make way for a new cycle route.
A segregated laneway is proposed to take cyclists safely into town from Clontarf.
Most of the 60 trees due to be felled are in Fairview Park.
2,000 people have signed a petition opposing the move.
