Revenue has seized cannabis, cash, alcohol and cigarettes following a number of separate, intelligence-led operations in Dublin this week.
At the weekend, officers from Revenue's Customs Service seized 30kgs of herbal cannabis, concealed in food stuff, with a street value of over €600,000 at Dublin Airport.
The drugs originated in Nigeria and were destined for an address in Dublin.
On Monday, 728 litres of alcohol were seized in Dublin Port, when officers stopped and searched a van which disembarked a ferry from Holyhead.
The alcohol has an estimated retail value of over €10,000 and a potential loss to the Exchequer of €5,000.
Yesterday Revenue's cash detection dog Hollie uncovered over £39,000 (€54,786) at Dublin port.
While today, officers at Dublin Port seized 7,520 cigarettes and 33 litres of alcohol with a value of more than €4,000, when they stopped and searched a bus which arrived on a ferry from Holyhead.
