The M50 has re-opened after a major pile-up this evening.

Five vehicles collided on the northbound lane of the motorway at around 6pm at the Firhouse exit.

Traffic is still delayed in the area with motorists are advised to slow down and drive with care.

The Gardaí have confirmed there was no serious injuries as result of the crash.
