Update 6.50pm: Six males arrested in connection with an unnotified public procession in County Armagh have now been released on bail.

Earlier, a 51-year-old man was charged following the dissident republican parade.

A total of twelve males were detained following the parade in the Kilwilkie area yesterday.

Earlier: Twelve men have been arrested in the North following a dissident republican parade.

The PSNI said the men were detained in the Kilwilkie area of Lurgan on suspicion of offences under the Public Processions Act.

The masked men marched through a housing estate to a memorial yesterday afternoon.

In a statement police say they were arrested as a result of the subsequent operation and concurrent investigation.
