Six in 10 people living in Ireland are overweight, an official report has found.

It is one of the findings of the latest 'Health of the Nation' report from the Department of Health.

The figures show our obesity rates are levelling off however, and may even be falling slightly.

It is the first time since 2007 that the research has been produced, and is due to be launched officially by the Minister Leo Varadkar this morning.
