An Irishman has died following an accident in Dubai.

The man from Donegal was in his late 20s and is understood to have suffered serious injuries in a fall from a balcony.

A spokesperson for the Department of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that the Irish embassy in Dubai is aware of the case and providing consular assistance to the man’s family.
