Karen Buckley's remains have been released by the Procurator in Scotland this afternoon.

Karen Buckley's remains have been released by the Procurator in Scotland this afternoon.

The 24-year-old's body is expected to return home at Mourneabbey in north Cork this weekend.

Karen's body was discovered on farmland north of Glasgow last week, she had been missing for four days.

She is survived by her parents John and Marian and brothers Brendan, Kieran and Damien.

Funeral mass will take place on Tuesday at the Church of St. Michael the Archangel, Analeentha, County Cork with burial in St. John’s Cemetery, Burnfort.
