Sinn Féin has tied with Fine Gael as the most popular party in the State, according to the latest opinion poll.

Sinn Féin has tied with Fine Gael as the most popular party in the State, according to the latest opinion poll.

The Red C poll in tomorrow’s Sunday Business Post shows both parties on 22%, with Fine Gael support falling four points from four weeks ago, and Sinn Féin’s rising by two points.

Independents are five points ahead of both on 27%, a rise of 1%.

Labour and Fianna Fáil are unchanged at 8% and 18% respectively, while the Greens are up a percentage point to 3%.
