Update - 11.55am: A second teenage boy has been sent forward for trial accused of the murder of Kildare schoolgirl Ana Kriegel.

The 14-year-old’s body was found in a derelict building in Lucan, Co Dublin, over three months ago.

A 14-year-old boy has appeared before the Children’s Court for the seventh time in connection with her death and has now been sent forward for trial.

He held both his parents' hands during this morning’s court appearance and his grandfather was also present.

A 13-year-old co-accused was sent forward for trial earlier this week charged with the murder.

8.16am: Boy, 14, due in court in connection with Anastasia Kriegel murder

A 14-year-old boy is due back before the Children’s Court this morning charged with the murder of schoolgirl Anastasia Kriegel.

The body of the 14-year-old Kildare girl was found in a disused building in Lucan, Co Dublin, over three months ago.

The 14-year-old accused has been before the courts a number of times since he was first charged and was granted bail earlier this month.

Earlier this week a 13-year-old boy, who has also been charged with her murder, was sent forward for trial.
