Gardaí have located the body of Douglas Twomey. The Gardai have said no further assistance is required.

Earlier:

Gardaí have appealed for information about Douglas Twomey, who is missing from Passage West, County Cork.

Douglas was last seen in the early hours of May 3, 2016 at his home in Passage West.

He is described as being 6ft 0in in height, of stocky build, with blue eyes and short grey/brown hair.

When last seen Mr Twomey was wearing a green polo shirt, blue jeans, blue hoody and blue sketchers shoes.

Douglas maybe driving a Maroon coloured Hyundai Santa Fe Jeep Registration Number 04-C-6768.
