Two men are due in court in Cork this morning, in connection with a high-speed chase in which a Garda was seriously injured.

Two men are due in court in Cork this morning, in connection with a high-speed chase in which a Garda was seriously injured.

The men, both in their late 20s, were arrested in the Lower Kileens area near Blarney yesterday.

The motorcycle Garda suffered back, rib and neck injuries after a crash during the high speed pursuit yesterday morning, and he's being treated at Cork University Hospital.

The men will appear at a special sitting of Cork District Court later.
