A man discovered collapsed in a park having drunk a fatal level of alcohol had been released from Garda custody less than three hours earlier.

An inquest into the death of 44-year-old Robert Flynn from Quarry Road in Cabra, Dublin heard that the father of six was found with an empty bottle of vodka beside him at Tolka Valley Park last October.

The jury returned a verdict of death by misadventure at Dublin Coroner's Court.
