A man has died following a crash involving a truck and two cars in Co Sligo today.

A man has died following a crash involving a truck and two cars in Co Sligo today.

It happened on the N16 Sligo to Manorhamilton road, near Glencar Waterfall, at around 10am this morning

It is understood that several others have been injured, although their condition has not been confirmed.

The deceased, believed to be aged in his 50s, was pronounced dead at Sligo Regional Hospital.

A section of the road is currently closed and diversions are in place.
