Public bike scheme numbers show cycling is becoming more popular
More than 2.3 million journeys were taken on public bikes in the first half of 2016.
The stats include the public bike schemes in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick and Belfast.
The vast majority of those - more than two million - were made on Dublin bikes.
The figures show an increase in the popularity of cycling - with 13,000 journeys a day.
In Cork there were 140,660 journeys in 2016 and 8,270 subscribers to the scheme.
Galway has 6,876 journeys in 2016 from a total of 2,036 subscribers.
Limerick has 16,478 journeys in 2016 from 2,584 subscribers and Belfast had 96, 358 journeys from 7,305 subscribers in 2016.
