The Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors says a small number of officers will be allowed to operate the PULSE system during industrial action, which is underway tomorrow.

Gardaí agree PULSE cover during strike

The Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors says a small number of officers will be allowed to operate the PULSE system during industrial action, which is underway tomorrow.

It comes after a meeting between the AGSI and officials from the Department of Justice this afternoon.

The AGSI says custody sergeants will be allowed to use the PULSE system to manage prisoners.

It is expected further talks between the department and AGSI will continue tomorrow.
