Manhunt after Dublin shooting

A manhunt is underway after a man was shot dead in Dublin last night.

35-year-old Alan O’Neill was shot at his home on Kiltalown Road in Tallaght last night.

Two men were arrested in the nearby Belfry area at the scene of a burning car, but a third man escaped.

Superintendent Peter Duff has some details about the cars they believed were involved in the shooting.

"We have one car, a Nissan Almera, which we are technically examining , and we also have a car which is extensively burnt out which is a silver Mazda, which we are going through for forensic evidence."
