Rail and bus fares increase today
Irish Rail, Bus Éireann and Luas services become more expensive from today.
The first round of fare increases for public transport users kick in as price hikes have been sanctioned by the National Transport Authority for Bus Éireann, Irish Rail, Dublin Bus and Luas users.
Rises come into effect today for some Bus Eireann, Iarnrod Eireann and Luas tickets.
Dublin Bus fare hikes and cash increases for the other public transport operators come into effect on December 1.
