The price of a home in Ireland rose by nearly 3% last month.

House prices up almost 3% in a month

The price of a home in Ireland rose by nearly 3% last month.

The latest property figures from the CSO show an increase of 2.9% in the price of the average home in October.

Properties are now worth an average of 16.3% more than they were a year ago.

Apartments in Dublin have seen the biggest growth, rising by over a quarter.

But the growth is slower outside of Dublin, where prices are up by just over 8% in the last year.
