Two men, aged 43 and 39, have been arrested in the North, after the seizure of suspected cannabis in Magherafelt.

Two men, aged 43 and 39, have been arrested in the North, after the seizure of suspected cannabis in Magherafelt.

The drugs were found in the Castledawson Road area at just after 8pm last night.

It was part of a search in which two cars, three mobile phones and the drugs, worth an estimated €40,000, were seized.

In follow up searches in Magherafelt and Cookstown, cash, documents, a mobile phone and drug paraphernalia were seized.
