Dwyer jury ask to suspend deliberations at 4.30pm
The jury in the Graham Dwyer murder trial has asked to suspend deliberations at 4.30pm today.
The architect of Kerrymount Close, Foxrock denies stabbing childcare worker Elaine O'Hara to death at Killakee in Dublin in August 2012.
The jury resumed deliberations this afternoon having already spent six hours and 25 minutes considering a verdict.
Earlier Mr Justice Tony Hunt suggested they might sit until 5pm or 5.30pm, but after lunch the foreman asked if they could go at 4.30pm.
This could mean they do not expect to be ready with a verdict today. In that case deliberations would resume on Monday.
The judge has told the jury they can deliberate for as long as it takes.
