'Heartbroken' Twink issues emotional appeal for return of missing dog

Singer and actress Twink - real name Adele King - has issued an emotional appeal for the return of one of her dogs, whom she believes was stolen.

The entertainer is offering a reward for anyone who can help find her Yorkshire Terrier Teddy, last seen outside the singer's house in Knocklyon in Dublin on Thursday afternoon.

In an emotional interview with the Sunday Independent, the 63-year-old begged anyone with information to come forward.

"I'm broken in a million pieces," she told Independent reporter Barry Egan.

"If you genuinely saw something that seemed a bit untoward - busy afternoon, Thursday, shopping centre across the road - somebody must have seen something.

"Please call me there is a reward for Teddy's safe return - and we are dying here. We are in bits."

In a post to her Facebook page, Twink's daughter Chloe Agnew said the family believed Teddy had been taken.

"Our beautiful tiny Teddy Bear has been stolen from our family home in Knocklyon!" the 25-year-old singer wrote.

“We are beyond devastated! He is the heart of our little family!

“Please, please spread the word and pray for a safe return home for our amazing little man! Would so appreciate it! Thanks...C x”

Teddy, a rescue dog described as having silver/blond colour and a collar with a name tag and contact details on it, is one of nine rescue dogs adopted by the Agnew family.
