A man is due in court in Dublin this morning charged in connection with a drug seizure worth more than €60,000 in Finglas.

A man is due in court in Dublin this morning charged in connection with a drug seizure worth more than €60,000 in Finglas.

Gardaí backed up the Garda Dog Unit searched a house in Berryfield Drive yesterday morning at 10.30am.

Cannabis herb and cocaine worth around €63,000 was seized along with cash and drug paraphernalia.

A man and a woman in their 30s were arrested at the scene and taken to Finglas garda station for questioning.

The woman was released late last night without charge and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The man is due before Blanchardstown district court this morning.
