The Irish Navy has rescued over 140 migrants in the Mediterranean.

140 migrants rescued from Mediterranean by Irish Navy

The Irish Navy has rescued over 140 migrants in the Mediterranean.

The LÉ Samuel Beckett located them earlier this morning on a rubber vessel off the Libyan coast.

This brings to almost 3000 migrants rescued by the vessel since it was deployed to the area on the 23rd September of this year.
