A man has been arrested in connection with a fire at a shopping centre in north Dublin.

A man has been arrested in connection with a fire at a shopping centre in north Dublin.

The blaze at the Coolock Village retail centre caused considerable damage to a number of units in the early hours of this morning.

This afternoon, gardaí arrested a 25-year-old man in relation to the incident.

He is being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Coolock garda station.
