Government promises second free pre-school year
The Government has pledged to introduce a second free pre-school year before the end of the decade.
The plan is aimed at improving outcomes for young people.
It is estimated to cost around €175m.
The objectives also include lifting 70,000 children out of poverty by the end of 2020.
