A man who had a toddler in the front seat of his car, was arrested on suspicion of drink driving in Co Wicklow.

A man who had a toddler in the front seat of his car, was arrested on suspicion of drink driving in Co Wicklow.

Gardaí breathalysed the driver in Arklow on Saturday and he was brought to Arklow garda station after failing the roadside test.

The infant was in a child seat, unrestrained.

Tusla were notified, and a file is being prepared for the child and family agency.
