A 24-year-old man has been arrested after a robbery in Dublin city centre.

A 24-year-old man has been arrested after a robbery in Dublin city centre.

It happened at Lombard Street East at around 9am this morning when a man armed with a knife entered a business premises and stole cash.

Gardaí were alerted and gave chase to the culprit.

A man was arrested a short time later and taken to Pearse Street Garda station.

The stolen cash and a knife were recovered.
