Around 40 children had to be evacuated from a school bus in Co Donegal this morning after it caught fire.

Around 40 children had to be evacuated from a school bus in Co Donegal this morning after it caught fire.

The incident happened at around half past eight at Mountaintop in Letterkenny.

The fire service attended the scene and all of the children were quickly taken off the coach.

It's understood they had been travelling from Creeselough to secondary schools in Letterkenny.

No injuries have been reported.
