Two men, one in his mid-60s, the other in his early 50s, have died after their light aircraft crashed in Co Wexford this afternoon.

Two men, one in his mid-60s, the other in his early 50s, have died after their light aircraft crashed in Co Wexford this afternoon.

A hillwalker saw the plane come down at Blackstairs Commons in the county.

Blackstairs Commons, Wexford

The bodies will not be removed until the morning as it is a mountainous area amd where they have been located is quite remote.

Emergency services are at the scene of the crash.
